Gul Dhawa also known as Axle Wood Flower is an herb that is mainly used in the Unani Medicinal System for the treatment of skin problems, wounds, diarrhea, and diabetes are precious Gul Dhawa benefits. The exudate of the Axle Wood Flower uses for Calico Printing, a process of imprinting on textile fabrics patterns. The therapeutic uses of this herb include diarrhea, dysentery, dysuria, gonorrhoea, leucorrhoea, menorrhagia, spermatorrhoea, piles, ulcers, and toothaches. Gul Dhawa has also been used for the treatment of liver and spleen enlargement. ENT problems such as COLD and cough can also be treated with this herb. Cholera, an infectious disease, causes watery diarrhea can be alleviated with the use of this herb.
Patients with splenomegaly (enlarged spleen) problems can use this herbage. Other therapeutic uses of this herbage include excessive perspiration, urinary disorders, cancers, carbuncles, as well as rinderpest disease. In ancient times, Axle Wood Flower is an effective treatment to cure scorpion sting and snake biting.
The flowers are astringent, cooling and useful in dysentery, diarrhoea, ulcers, gonorrhoea, dysuria, menorrhagia and leucorrhoea. Also useful in bleeding piles. The decoction of flowers is prescribed in spermatorrhoea.
Recommended Dosage: 3 to 5 g powder.
